Swim Wetsuit Men Renting Partner Events

Will you soon start at one of our partner triathlon or swimming events? If you don't (yet) have your own wetsuit, then a wetsuit rental at athletesportsworld a possibility. On this page you can read all about how to rent a wetsuit. You can also reserve a wetsuit right away.

When do you need a wetsuit?

You wear a wetsuit for two reasons: water temperature and buoyancy. Swimming in open water can be quite cold. At water temperatures below 16 degrees, a wetsuit is therefore often mandatory. At water temperatures above 24.5 degrees, on the other hand, you may not wear a wetsuit. In general, wearing a wetsuit in the spring and fall is recommended, because you can cool down considerably while swimming. Moreover, a wetsuit also offers you the advantage of staying afloat easier. Thus, you will swim your race faster than ever.

Good quality wetsuits

At ASW we only rent special high quality swim wetsuits and renowned brands such as Zone3 and Huub. This ensures that with a wetsuit from ASW you are well prepared for a triathlon or swim.

Rent a swim wetsuit for your race or tour at ASW

Do you have a triathlon, race or swim in your calendar? Then don't wait too long to reserve your wetsuit.

You order your wetsuit this way:

• Select the day you need your wetsuit
• Describe your weight, height, gender and event you are participating in in the text field
• Add the wetsuit to your cart
  
• Follow the steps to place your order
• You will receive an order confirmation by email

Pick up, shipping and pick up at an event

We will arrange for you to pick up your wetsuit at the event. This will be either at the race registration or at your own ASW tent.

Are you participating in a race where ASW has a booth? Then you can pick up your wetsuit there on the day of the race.

Costs for renting

Renting a wetsuit costs €30 for the day.

The use of the wetsuit and the deposit

When you rent a wetsuit as good as new from ASW, we assume that you will handle it with care. When renting we charge a deposit of €100 per wetsuit. If the wetsuit is returned clean and undamaged, the deposit is refunded immediately.

Our wetsuits are only suitable for swimming andnot for diving, surfing, supping, snorkeling, etc. In activities other than swimming, damage will certainly occur due to the material properties of our wetsuits.

Returning the wetsuit

After you have used the wetsuit and the rental period ends, we assume that you will return the wetsuit to us without delay so that we can rent it to another swimmer.

You return the wetsuit in this manner:

• If an ASW booth is present you can return it there directly.
  
• and otherwise you can hand it in at the race secretariat
• Is there any damage to the wetsuit? Please let us know as soon as possible

Rental fee as credit for the purchase of a new wetsuit

Did you like swimming in a wetsuit? Then we are happy to help you purchase a new wetsuit. Within 6 months after renting a wetsuit you will receive the rental price (excl. any shipping costs) as a discount on the purchase price of your new wetsuit. Please contact us before you want to purchase one, and we will arrange the discount for you.
