Are you starting a triathlon or race on your bike abroad soon? Or planning a scenic tour there? Especially if you travel by plane or train, protecting your bike with a case is recommended or even mandatory. You can rent a bike case from ASW. On this page, you will find all the information about how renting a bike case works. You can also reserve a bike case right away.
When do you need a bike case?
If you travel by train or plane, it is highly recommended or even mandatory to pack your bike properly. This prevents damage to your bike and disappointment upon arrival at your destination.
Features of the Bike Guard Curv
The Curv Bike Guard bike case is the lightest case on the market and suitable for your road bike, triathlon bike, as well as 29" mountain bike. The Curv is a so-called hard case, in which you can pack your bike extra securely.
The case is light and strong, ideal for a long trip. With straps inside the shells, you keep the bike and wheels in place. Additional padding elements in the case ensure your bike is very well protected and you can carry a lot of extra clothing and accessories.

You order your bike case as follows:
Select the day you want to pick up your bike case (pickup from 14:00)
Select the day you will return the bike case (return before 12:00)

Picking up the bike case (from 14:00)
You can pick up your rented bike case at our store in Amsterdam. Due to its size, a bike case cannot be shipped.
Use of the bike case and the deposit
When you rent an almost new bike case from ASW, we expect you to handle it with care. We charge a deposit of €200 per bike case at rental. If the bike case is returned clean, undamaged, and complete with all accessories, the deposit will be refunded immediately.
Note: ASW cannot be held liable for damage or loss of a bike when using the bike case.
Returning the bike case
After using the bike case and the rental period ends, we expect you to return the case promptly so we can rent it out to another cyclist.
You return the case as follows:
Clean the case after your trip
Bring the case back to the store
If the case has been damaged, inform us as soon as possible (before returning) by email with a photo.
If the case is missing or lost, notify us immediately. We hope the case will be returned quickly. If not, you will be held liable for the loss and replacement value of the case.
Rental fee as credit towards purchasing a new bike case
If you were satisfied with the bike case and want to purchase your own, we are happy to assist you. Within 6 months after renting a bike case, you will receive the rental fee (excluding any shipping costs) as a discount on the purchase price of a new bike case. Please contact us before making a purchase so we can arrange the discount.
