The outer shorts are made of recycled woven material and the inner shorts of jersey for extra comfort.  The Björn Borg Borg Running Shorts 2-1 is a stylish training short made from recycled polyester and stretch polyamide. The design features an outer woven short and inner shorts made of jersey. This short model has a double waistband with a drawstring in between to secure your keys. Furthermore, the inner shorts include a phone pocket, the item has side slits for optimal freedom of movement, and reflective details on the back for good visibility. Recycled polyamide is made from plastic from industrial waste and plastic from the oceans, such as fishing nets and plastic mats. Recycled polyester is primarily made from plastic bottles and industrial waste. Its production uses less water and energy. It also generates up to 30% less CO2 emissions compared to new polyester. All recycled yarns come from GRS-certified suppliers (GRS - Global Recycle Standard). This is an independent, third-party certification of recycled content focused on traceability, social and environmental practices, and chemical restrictions. The certification validity is checked with each new collection. Bjorn Borg consistently emphasizes more sustainable products. But what does this actually mean? At Borg, a product is considered sustainable if it is made of at least 70% more sustainable materials (explained here) or if it supports the Better Cotton Initiative.
