We are looking for:

Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager Amsterdam (32 hours)

With an increasing number of customers in our store and the service we want to maintain for all these clients, we are looking for a new (assistant) store manager for our Amsterdam location.

Do you have a strong passion for (endurance) sports? Can you provide expert advice and want to combine that with leading the ASW team? Then read on and apply directly.

At the ASW store, many athletes visit daily for advice and products related to swimming, cycling, running, and triathlon. Of course, they also come by for your tips & tricks to improve their training and races. 

As our (assistant) store manager, you greet every visitor enthusiastically. With your advice and enthusiasm, you then help find the right product for the customer. 

Who are we looking for?

• You are enthusiastic about selling sports equipment and have affinity with sports; you know what you are advising on. Specific work experience is not required; enthusiasm is much more important to us.
• Proven experience as a team leader or other experience demonstrating your ability to lead a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with good command of Dutch and English. Other languages are a plus.
• Availability four or five days per week, including Saturdays.

Store Employee Amsterdam (16-32 hours)

To expand our team in our Amsterdam store, we are looking for a store employee. Are you an enthusiastic athlete and have you always wanted to turn your passion into your job? Then this is your chance.

At the ASW store, many athletes visit us daily for advice and products for swimming, cycling, running, and triathlon. Of course, they also come by for your tips & tricks to improve training and races. 

As our store employee, you greet every visitor enthusiastically. With your advice and enthusiasm, you then help find the right product for the customer. 

Who are we looking for?

For this position, we are looking for an enthusiastic (endurance) athlete who provides the best advice and products to our store visitors. You have a passion for sport and know how to convey it. 

Strong communication skills in word and writing with good command of Dutch and English are required. Other languages are a plus.

You are available two, three, or four days a week, and we will coordinate when you can strengthen the team on Saturday and/or Sunday. 

Specific work experience is not required. In fact, we consider it more important that you are an enthusiastic athlete like our customers!

What do we offer?

At ASW, we gladly offer you the opportunity to be part of our team and work together on ASW's success. This can be alongside your studies, your other job, or simply because you can't get enough of talking about your sport besides your training and races.

You assist with the daily processing of all online orders, advising customers in the store, and keeping the website up to date.

Shall we go for a run, bike ride, or swim together in between?

Per week you work 1 to 3 days, with your hours always scheduled in consultation to accommodate your other activities and commitments. During holidays, you can always work extra. We offer you a competitive salary and a purchase scheme for everything you need as an athlete.
