Shipments

Order if in stock (except for stock errors) and ordered before 5 pm on working days will be sent the same day. AthleteSportsWorld.com will always do its best to ensure that your order is sent as quickly as possible.

Delivery time

Depending on the country where you live, a separate delivery time applies. You can view this transfer duration here. A delivery time is the time that a package takes to arrive at you. This delivery time can be influenced by, among others. customs formalities (also in the EU, especially if the package is sent by plane).

 

Scope of the package

AthleteSportsWorld always tries to match the package as well as possible with the size of the product. However, sometimes we are required to use larger packages.

 

If you often send small (er) packages abroad, keep in mind that if the package fits through the letterbox it can happen that, regardless of the package label, the shipment will be sent via the Letters Sorting Center. When your package is sent abroad via the Letters Sorting Center, it will take longer before it will be offered to your customer. In this case, the Track & Trace code will also not be complete. Therefore, when using a package label for your small (er) packages, make sure that the format does not fit through the letterbox.

 

Shipping methods

AthleteSportsWorld.com offers the following shipping and collection options:

  • Regular shipping via PostNL (or via one of its network partners)
    • Delivery at home or at work
    • Delivery to one of the PostNL points (only the Netherlands)
  • Free collection at one of the collection points in Amsterdam (1 day of processing, unless urgent. Then call us !!)
  • Sameday delivery via Trunkrs (ordered on working days before 11 am, delivered the same evening, if the products are in stock) - soon possible.


Post NL delivery

Once your order has been sent, we will automatically notify you by email. Here you will also find a hyperlink to track your package online. You can always track your shipment via: Post NL Track and Trace . In the top right you can select another language.

If desired, you can indicate your work address as delivery address when ordering.

If you are not at home
If you are not at home, Post NL (or its shipping partner) will resend the shipment the next day. If you also miss this offer, you can pick up the package at a collection point. You will be informed of this by the sending partner by means of a notification (letter and / or SMS and / or email).

Recently, your package is stored for 7 days (NL), after which it is sent back again.

If you want us to send the package again then we will charge delivery costs for this.

Delivery charge
The delivery costs depend on the receiving country. We send the packages in the Netherlands via PostNL and in other European countries via their shipping partners. Your track and trace will then be converted. You will automatically receive a message about this. So make sure you don't make mistakes in your email address.

Pick up in Amsterdam

  • Showroom: Schollenbrugstraat 10-hs, Amsterdam, the Netherlands

Pick up is possible in our showroom at Schollenbrugstraat 10-hs in Amsterdam . You can indicate this during the payment process and this is of course completely free.

The first working day next you can pick up your order in the showroom if everything is in stock. You will not receive a message from this. We will only contact you if your order is not yet complete.

Note that these may vary per week. These are tracked weekly.

Missed delivery, not picked up and now return?

Did you miss the delivery and did not pick it up at the collection point ?, And will your package be sent back to AthleteSportsWorld? Please bear in mind that this can take quite some time (and in the case of shipments from outside the Netherlands a few weeks) before we receive the package back. If you wish to receive the product again afterwards, we will charge you for these shipping costs.

Special days for shipment:

No shipping will take place on the following days:

  • Saturday, Sundays and public holidays,
  • Friday after Ascension
  • December 24
  • December 31

On December 5 we can ship until 3:30 pm.

Tip! Are you not often at home? Have the package delivered to your work, family or acquaintances. Specify a different delivery or delivery address at checkout.

No package received?
Did you not receive a package? And no message of collection at one of the collection points? First check whether you can find more information via the track and trace code that we have sent you.

If you do not get any information from this, please contact us via our contact form or our online ticket system (accessible via your account on our website)

Procedure if no package has been received

If you contact us because the delivery time has expired and your package has not yet been received, we will take the following steps:

  1. Checking the Track and Trace code. Perhaps we can see more information.
  2. Request information from our shipping party MyParcel. Based on the track and trace they will try to find out in their systems whether they can find more information. They have deeper access to the shipping systems. This often takes 2-3 business days
  3. If no information emerges at point 2, they will have to start an investigation at PostNL or its shipping partners (3-4 business days).
    For this we will provide MyParcel with the following information.
    • Sales invoice
    • Purchase invoice
    • Packaging and content details
  4. If the package is not yet visible, we will ask you to complete a "not-received" statement.
  5. After we have received this completed form and signed return, we will give you 2 options:
    • New shipment (if the products are in stock)
    • Crediting your order
