This light stunter has an innovative layered structure with carbon fiber. For the first time in the EVO Carbon Rocket, HOKA uses a 1 mm thick carbon plate over the entire length of the shoe. This carbon plate acts as a spring type and is located 8 mm above the wear sole. This gives a stiff feeling when walking at low rates. But while walking at fast rates, the carbon plate propels you forward and gives it maximum energy back with every pass.
Above: soft foam for a pleasant wearing comfort.
Bottom: a sturdy, sensitive outer sole of rubberised foam with strategically placed rubber for extra grip.
And in between is a carbon fiber midsole. The combination of these three layers gives a minimal energy loss and better sales, all in a package of less than 200 grams. Nice.
- The special light, open-worked mesh offers optimum comfort and breathability.
- PROFLY ™ midsole for a cushioned landing and better toe placement.
- The outer sole of rubberised foam provides extra resilient cushioning and traction.
