Loopwijzer was founded in 2014 by Nils to provide runners with more information about injury prevention in running and running techniques. At the moment there are running courses in 4 places in Amsterdam for both beginners and advanced students.
Nils was in his youth quite sporty and remained so until his 28th. After a period of approximately 10 years, he did not move much and worked a lot, and in 2008 he started running again. The kick was huge to experience how fast you can learn to run longer.
He has since joined a running club and has provided solicited and unsolicited advice to his runners. It was therefore logical that he became a running trainer in 2010. Because he wanted to know more about running technique, he did a training as a running trainer at the athletics union. There he learned that he was made to be a running trainer !.
As stated, Niels therefore started running school Loopwijzer in 2014. To teach people to walk better technically with less risk of injury. And to share the most beautiful walking routes in nature, preferably unpaved. He now has a fun community of wise runners and regularly runs crazy and well-attended training camps in the Ardennes.
