The Viper Pro is the tip of the sword in the triathlon-swimmskin market. In developing the Viper Pro, ROKA has mastered the challenge of developing a swimming skin that complies with the ROKA standard of the Maverick Pro wetsuit. They pursued the same uncompromising, down-to-earth approach to design based on years of swimming and triathlon experience, and strategically built on the latest advances in high-end swimwear materials and designs.
The Viper Pro swimskin is USAT- and WTC-legal and uses two grades of the same premium stretch fabric from Italy, a hydrophobic Teflon coating, a hi-tech, high-tech welded seam construction, a low-profile self-locking YKK zipper, and pattern-orientation and layout are strategically designed to free your arms and assist you where you need them. We use flat seams at the leg opening to avoid "sausage legs" caused by rubber bands with silicone grippers. All these little details add up to free pace on race day. The Viper Pro comes with atomic yellow graphics.
If you have a race without wetsuit on your calendar, the ROKA Viper Pro offers the ultimate in swimming performance. This suit was the first in the men's professional field in 2013 and 2014. In 2015, nearly 25% of men in Kona ROKA wore Viper webbeds - more than any other brand.
- Webs should be snug but comfortable without compromising respiration or arm movement. The fit can feel different when swimming than on land. Be sure to try the suit in the water. They should fit snugly, like a competition swimsuit.
- Note that webbeds may only be worn over the top of the race over a racing top / bottom or racing suit. These are very special, high performance garments that can not be worn by themselves like traditional swimwear. The suits may be translucent under certain lighting conditions or when wet. Underwear such as a tri-kit or swimsuit is strongly recommended.
- Your racing gear will slightly affect the fit. Be sure to try them and swim with your racing gear or other suit underneath.
