The SIM is the first practical triathlon and swim training tool to simulate the body position and experience of a wetsuit in the swimsuit by lifting you up - without overheating from wearing a wetsuit in a 26 C swimming pool. It is better than a pull bouy, because you can use it to kick and turn naturally. It also gives a touch of warmth for those cold morning workouts. The SIM turns each swim into a competition-specific training. Once you've tried this neoprene swimsuit, you'll never want anything else.

Please note, these shorts are designed for the swimming pool and must have excellent durability if you rinse them off after use with fresh water and dry them thoroughly.

Fit tip: SIM shorts are neoprene and release slightly into the water. However, they have a drawstring for adjustment.

Yamamoto SCS Coated Stretch Knit - Easier to fit tightly, snugly - Seals the water better

The SIM Pro lifts your hips, just like a wetsuit, so that you are in the fastest possible position and your body helps to develop the muscle memory that you need on match day. Most manufacturers of top wetsuits only focus on buoyancy. Of course, wetsuits help you get up, but that's not enough - and in some cases it can really be a barrier to swimming fast. To achieve the fastest posture, you need to remove the buoyancy, mass, and resistance from places you don't want to. With the SIM Pro we add buoyancy to the hips and legs, making the fastest position possible. We also use Yamamoto's SCS coating to further reduce form resistance. We are convinced that you will feel the ROKA difference as soon as you jump into the water.

If you want to swim faster with less effort, then rotation is important. A fast freestyle requires effective rotation along your centerline to generate power and speed in the most propelling phase of your stroke. The Maverick Pro uses basic laws of physics. We call our application of those laws "RS2" - the ROKA Speed ??Stripes. It is science and it will make you faster.

The majority of wetsuits on the market get this problem completely wrong. We have done MANY tests and tests to get this right. Many suits, even the most expensive ones, add buoyancy to the lateral or external parts of a wetsuit, but with the help of basic physics it is easy to see that this is the equivalent of adding weights to your cycling shoes and pedals! It inhibits the power phase of your stroke, makes it really hard for you to run well, and ensures that you use more energy. Our patented wet suit design improves the power phase of your stroke and encourages fast, easy rotation along your centerline. And if you rotate too much when you swim, you will be able to feel this more easily in our wetsuit. All this translates into faster swimming with less effort.

For the SIM Pro II we use the exact same materials as its big brother, the Maverick Pro Wetsuit. This gives exactly the feeling that you will have on the racing day. " Training Like You Race " starts with the development of precise muscle and neurological adjustments - you can do that with the SIM Pro II.

The SIM Pro II is 100% premium Yamamoto neoprene from Japan. We use Yamamoto # 39 SCS coated neoprene in different thicknesses and use Yamamoto's Aerodome neoprene on the centerline (front and rear). # 39 has long been a favorite in premium triathlon suits and offers an excellent balance between performance and costs. We use state-of-the-art Yamamoto textiles for the waistband to provide a better seal when penetrating water and can offer folded neoprene. SCS is Yamamoto's patented hydrophobic surface coating. For the centerline panel, Yamamoto Aerodome is a sandwiched neoprene that contains a perforated layer between two fixed layers. This composition retains air in small rooms and improves buoyancy and reduces weight.
