Please note, these shorts are designed for the swimming pool and must have excellent durability if you rinse them off after use with fresh water and dry them thoroughly.

Fit tip: SIM shorts are neoprene and release slightly into the water. However, they have a drawstring for adjustment.

The SIM Elite II lifts your hips, just like a wetsuit, so that you are in the fastest possible position and help your body to develop the muscle memory that you need on the race day. Most manufacturers of top wetsuits only focus on buoyancy. Of course, wetsuits help you get up, but that's not enough - and in some cases it can really be a barrier to swimming fast. To get the fastest posture, you need to remove the buoyancy, mass, and resistance from places you don't want to. With the SIM Elite II we add buoyancy to the hips and legs, making the fastest position possible. We also use Yamamoto's SCS coating to further reduce form resistance. The SIM Elite is 100% premium Yamamoto neoprene from Japan. We use Yamamoto # 39 SCS coated neoprene in various thicknesses. # 39 has long been a favorite in premium triathlon wetsuit and offers an excellent balance between performance and costs. SCS is Yamamoto's patented hydrophobic surface coating.
