Maurten Gel100 Energygel

This is the world's first energy gel. It is a bold statement. But still true. From a technical perspective, traditional "gels" of water and carbohydrates are mixed in syrups, often filled with flavors and preservatives. The instructions indicate that you must consume them with water.

The GEL 100 is completely different. It is a biopolymer matrix, filled with a unique mix of glucose and fructose (ratio of 0.8: 1) that allows recordings of up to 100 grams of carbohydrates per hour.
