AthleteSportsWorld was founded in 2010 by Matthias. In the past, he participated in numerous races and events. Initially, he only sold sports nutrition to endurance athletes and triathletes. Gradually, more products were added, and eventually, he opened his first physical store in Amsterdam.
From that store, ASW grew. And significantly so. More and more endurance athletes came by and became loyal customers. With the increasing demand for high-quality products, the product range expanded continuously, making ASW the Dutch endurance sports specialist. And not only for Dutch endurance athletes, as the webshop also grew, now shipping orders worldwide.
One of those loyal customers was Peter. He is also an enthusiastic endurance athlete and competes at the national level in triathlons. After a career at various start-ups and large companies, he decided it was time to turn his passion into his profession. Since 2026, Peter has been leading AthleteSportsWorld.

Of course, we only supply products that we use ourselves or are certain are good enough to sell to you. For this reason, we work exclusively with the best suppliers. This also comes in handy if you ever need to make a warranty claim.
